For nearly 15 years, Lenard's at Ellenbrook Central has been a beloved staple in the community, known for consistently delivering quality produce. At the heart of the shop is Marg, the friendly face who’s always ready for a laugh and a chat with her customers. Let’s dive deeper into her story below, as we had the chance to catch up with her one-on-one.

How long has your store been at Ellenbrook Central? 

We have been at Ellenbrook Central for nearly 14 years now. For the past 2 years, Nash & Vidz have been the new owners. They are both lovely people to work with.

What is the best part of working in this centre and in the local community?  

Everybody at Ellenbrook Central are a friendly bunch of ppl. I love the challenge of putting a smile on people's faces and making it a happy experience for everyone.  We also love to give back to the local community.  

If you could only eat one product from your store for the rest of your life what would you choose and why?

I would have to be our Mushroom Strudel. It is a beautiful product, perfect for families. 

What separates you from other retailers that sell similar products? 

Our chicken products are hand made in store and Lenard's as a brand has been around for 36 years. Lenard's Ellenbrook is at the top of the game being able to cater for all family members with an extensive range of products even ones suitable for vegetarians with the salad bar. Not only that we even look after our customers' pets with fresh minced food available.

What is the most popular product that you sell/what are you most known for? 

A favourite for the kids are our pizza scrolls & mini strudel. As for family favourite, our Garlic Kievs are very popular. They are boneless, succulent, oozing with garlic & butter. A pure delight.
